RGB COLOR SENSOR-TCS3200
RGB color sensor-TCS3200 is the color recognition sensor module

How TCS3200 Color sensor work
This sensor has four different types of filter
diodes arranged in the form of 8x8 arrays dimensional.16 filter diodes
are assigned for RED Color,16 have BLUE filter diodes,16 have GREEN filter
diodes and the remaining 16 have no color. These filters are used to detect the
RED, GREEN, and BLUE color. If you want to detect any one of the R, G, B colors
you have to enable the particular filter. For example, the user has to enable
the RED filter allows detecting only RED color percentage and the remaining
filters are deactivated so it does not detect the other colors.
RGB Color sensor has inbuilt chip TCS3200 has an 8x8 array of photodiodes, TCS3200 and TCS3210 programmable color light-to-frequency converters that are configurable with silicon photodiodes and a current-to-frequency converter on a single Monolithic-CMOS integrated circuit.TCS3200 chip has included an oscillator that produces a square wave output frequency that is proportional to the intensity of the color.

How to use RGB Color Sensor-TCS3200
TCS3200 Color sensor has four selection lines S0,S1,S2,S3. To
use theTCS3200 sensor we have to configure the selection
lines s0,s1 are used for frequency scaling, and s2,s3 are used to
enable the color photodiodes (RED filter or GREEN filter or BLUE filter or
CLEAR).
